Anyone have experience obtaining a barcode for a DVD?

As you will read getting a barcode is not an inexpensive or simple undertaking. It will cost you ate least $750 for the registration fee that entitles you to issue your own barcodes. Some DVD maufacturers offer barcoding as a service and this helps with the cost see, for example:

I did some more research & found this website that sells barcodes for $9.95

I ordered one & will report on how it works out when they complete the order.

Easiest thing ever.

I paid the $9.95 online on Saturday & then Monday they emailed me an eps & jpeg version of my barcode ready to be used.

Now I'm on a record label!

I recommend this to anyone who wants to sell things in stores or Amazon.
