One of the themes you might want to look at is called "Striking'. It's one of the most customizable templates available and it's well supported by the developers, who are not 14 year old kids, but very experienced developers and programmers. Some might think that if you buy a template your site is somehow going to look the same as someone else who bought the template. Quite to the contrary. Customization changes all of that.
