Back End Percentage?
Hello oh wise ones of dvinfo, i've come again to seek your advice and knowledge on matters i know little about
Basically this is the question- If one's company has been offered to co-produce a show which might be picked up by one of the bigger networks, and one's company has been offered a backend deal in terms of monetary compensation if the show DOES get picked up, what percentage would one negotiate for if the other company is the one to initially pick up the producing cost although one's company is the one doing all the filming/editing etc? can i be any more vague? hehe anyways, just was wondering what usually would you negotiate for a back end deal in terms of t.v shows on a co producer credit? any one have any ideas, i'd love to hear them :)

If one was getting paid up front, the extra percentage is a bonus, right?
