Music Video Film Festival Credits
Just wondering if anyone out there knows what the standard procedure is for MVs being screened at film festivals.
I'm thinking of doing a black screen with the Band name, title and album and the directors (mtv style) before the music video opens (for about 5 seconds) I've seen a lot of the newer MV on youtube don't have this any more, but I'm wondering what you guys have done in the past. Is it tacky to do something like this? Should I forget the credits all together? |

Re: Music Video Film Festival Credits
I'd do credits, you never know if it'll be introduced before its played.
Get your band members ideas and approval. Just make sure the credits are big enough and up long enough to be read from the back row, wherever that is. Cheers.
