As a beginner event videograher, I'm wondering where do most videographer advertise?
Can you share some of the things that you do to attract new business?

In order of where I've gotten the most work:

Mandy.com
Craigslist
Media Match

Sources from which I've gotten no work in ~2 years:
LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, etc.
ProductionHUB
iFreelance
Guru.com
Media Mobz
Yellow Pages

Naturally, YMMV as you're in a geographic location ideal for this industry.

Do some pro-bono work for charities, non-profit events and organizations. Most appreciate any additional exposure they can get.

Word of mouth is often the best advertising, especially at first. This is a good way to generate that, and gain experience to boot.
