Referral Agreement
Constituent of mine works on the East coast. His worldwide client wants somebody local to work with (Midwest). He referred them to me, upon the agreement of a 'taste'. If he keeps referring (and I get work) I have no problems paying a commission, limited to some time element.
Several of my friends use "Referral Agreements" in their sales organizations, but nothing as specific as we might need in video production. Anyone have a clue where to find one? |

I would think that they should write up the agreement and then you would determine if this would be suitable. They are making the offer, they know their business, why should you spend your time guessing what might be agreeable to them? I would guess that they would be looking for other people to do referrals so they should be responsible for creating the agreement.
