The BBC wants to licence my clip: Fair rate?

Just got an e-mail from a production company producing a comedy show for BBC1, and they want to use my short documentary (about 3 minutes, but high def 720p).

What's a fair rate for licensing?

There are pretty standard acquisition rate per minute for broadcast in a territory or country, which would be the starting point. Rates could depend on if the programme is for a BBC regional or a network production.

Sorry, I don't have the current rates, but they are out there.
