T.V. Series Budgets
We are pitching a wine tasting show to sponsors & networks, we have some interest and have been asked for a budget. I'm an independent filmmaker and have very little T.V. experience. We are creating 2 budgets - one for the pilot and one for a 13 1/2-hour episodes.
Does anyone know where I might find sample T.V. budgets to look at? |

Your best bet, honestly, is to bring onboard a line producer who has experience with these type of series. There are many hidden costs and factors and you could easily lock yourself into a budget that will ultimately cost you to cover these out of pocket--it's a worthwhile investment. You can "get away" with a lot more with indie filmmaking than you can with a network series, by a long shot.
