Other than Craigslist..........
I will have some opportunities for someone or sometwo this year. Anyone know what professional add listing you can use other than Craigstlist...... I don't know of anyone on this board that is near me, other wise I would advertise here.

most of the ads I 've seen on CL are under the heading "CREW"-a friend of mine adverts there and it seems to get results.

I'd also suggest you check your VA state film office Virginia Film Office for qualified freelancers. You are close to a great many qualified pros. I've yet to see a serious job for fair money posted on Craigslist and I'm always suspicious of anyone that posts jobs there. Finally a Google search for freelancers in your area will yield some good leads.

I'm a big believer in craigslist... but I know others have had different opinions... I think it all depends on how you use it. I started my whole business off of craigslist actually, and never accepted "low-paying" jobs.
Now I get most of my business through marketing (or repeat work and referrals) but I still use craigslist now and then. If you can't get enough work, it's the best solution IMO. I talk about it on my blog. Good luck
