getting songs into movies at DVinfo.net

Can anyone here tell me what is the right way to sell a song to be used in a movie/commercial ? The artist I have been working with is still unsigned but he has a lot of radio time. He's been hovering between number one and number two spot for over a month now on the biggest radio station in Milwaukee ( I know, not the most glamorous city ). His newest release is one of the most beautifull songs I have heard ( a short preview is available at Seville Media, click on the exclusive preview of DADDY .
Any help would be greately appreciated.
