Music rights/concerns in video
I want to make a short film with various songs and tracks from various artists. I know many people have done this before and it is illegal, but I was wondering if I do not mass produce this, do not make a profit out of it, and put the artists information/copyright property notices at the end of the movie in the credits, and the movie is for personal use, would it be okay?

It's OK with me.
It might not be OK with the people who own the music though. If you are only going to show this to friends and family, you'll probably never get busted. If you have any aspirations beyond that, then stick to music that you have the rights to use.
