Register trade mark
Does anyone know how to do the register trade mark that is usually seen in books to indicate the word or name belongs to a certain company, using word? It is indicated with a capital letter, an R and a circle around it. Thanks.

When in word while holding down the control key or option in a Mac then hit the letter "R" this will bring up the trade mark your looking for...
® Is this what your looking for?? |

Some legal advice, eh? ;)
On a PC you can hit Start > Run and run charmap. Any character you ever dreamt of wanting. |

Thanks Alex. Wow. I didn't even know about that. That worked.
Tom, I tried what you said but it did not work. I wonder why it worked for you but not for me. When I held the Ctrl key down and pressed r or R it moved the entire sentence to the left. Do you know what the culprit could be? Again, Thanks a ton Alex.

Really sorry video project came up...
OK here are a few ways I am on Word with Times as the font, hold down Control, Alt and then press the R key. "®" That's what you get...this works when your typing in almost any other application. Another way for this is when you in Word only and you can't find it go to the Menu, go to Insert, then draw down to Symbol and you see all the symbols that you can insert. |
