30 second spot quote.
I have just been contracted to shoot 3 30 second tv spots and the client would like an itemized estimate. They have agreed to a production budget of $10k per spot....
this includes: assistants/grip talent usage ( 2 year local market ) post/edit vid/audio voiceover I own the location space and all the production gear ( camera, lights, grip, mics, etc )... will not need to rent anything. Can anyone give me a hypothetical line item estimate? Thanks. |

Don't forget that even though you own most of the gear you don't get to use it for free. You have to buy iy, service it, repair it, and eventually replace it. Your budget needs to have the cost of that "rent" built in even though you're renting from yourself.
