Show video on web for customer
Hey guys. I've just set up a new web/ftp/flash stream server at work, and would like to build a system that makes us able to make a small website for each customer to comment on the videos we produce for them.
Would like to upload a video and have it published to a site with username and login. The user should be able to add notes to the clip (at specific timecodes) Are there some solutions for this? We are Mac/Final cut based. Thanks |

Well Adobe has Clip notes which works great so I imagine there has to be a similar solution to use for Mac. I have been tinkering with this addition to the JW player.
TimeLiner it allows people to add notes to the clip playing. You could use standard server setup to add a user and password to it. I cannot find it right now but I am still looking, I remember reading about some software that let you watch the video with them and pause, rewind, and comment together.

If I remember correctly, Vimeo lets you make videos private, so that you need a password to view videos. You can set passwords for each video, I think.

I use Vimeo for exactly this purpose. Works fine.
