Help with Bid at DVinfo.net

Local Company wants me to do a 30 minite "How To" DVD.

How to install Home Theater Componants.

They say they are getting a "known" actor to be the presentor and they have "good" distribution.

I will do Shoot, Edit, Graphic, Music and deliver a DVD master. I will probably do graphics for the Jewel case as well.

I have no idea what to ask. I have never bid a job before.

Do I ask for points on sales or flat fee?

How do you track points on sales? Is it just by trust?

I'd forget about taking money off the back end and offer a flat fee.

estimated expenses
plus
rental fee for all your equipment
plus
your hourly fee x estimated hours

multiply the whole lot by at least 20%
