I started a blog (BLAWG!) for my business, and I posted a checklist that I take to client meetings. This isn't intended to be totally comprehensive list, but many of you probably have had the experience of needing to educate clients about how many decisions go into a production--it's intended to get them to start thinking more clearly about what they're doing and give them a point of reference. It's kind of like talking points--I don't forget to ask some of these questions (saves re-visiting them later...), and the client gets some awareness that making a video is going to be a complex production (which they often lack at the initial consultation)...
