Insurance in Australia - a smaller thread
I'm finally getting my act into gear and insuring all my stuff and am finding it very difficult to select a company.
One in Sydney, IT Insurance Services, says that because my stuff is over 12 months old I'll need to provide evidence of its value, etc... Can anyone recommend them? Can I ask for recommendations from people in Australia (and in Melbourne also) that have found good policies from good companies? |

John, try looking around for brokers in the field. I can't recall any off hand, but IMO they're worth their commission first time out.
Cheers. |

you can try these:
http://www.fiua.com.au/ www.actioninsurance.com.au I've heard of them but can't recommend - I insure through my contents policy (hobby use only, not for income producing purposes) - no matter who it is, you only find out how good they are if you make a claim. |
