Expensive business card paper

Time for new business cards for me. I'm looking for a very sexy, expensive look and feel paper to get them printed on. Does anyone know much about printing and paper, and if so, could you give me some suggestions?

Thanks!

You probably have a few professional printing companies in your area. Such places are often very reasonable for things such as brochures and business cards. Not only would the printing look professional (because it IS professional), but you would be able to choose which of their paper stocks you want them to use and they would have suggestions concerning the different stocks for you. If you buy "expensive look and feel paper" to get your cards printed on, it will be very expensive, costing much more per card than a professional printing company would cost.

If you are having trouble finding reasonable rates, you could contact me as well - I have a contact with a printer whose prices are extremely low. I don't know how much it would be to have them shipped to you, but thought I'd mention it anyway. My email is mountjoystudios@dejazzd.com.

Dylan, If you're interested, I could email you privately the info on the person that got me my business cards. They are a very nice, heavy weight with front and back printing. If I remember right, he can do a UV coating on the front that gives a bit of a glossy sheen. Also, he did my design very reasonable.

I know there is the whole across the border thing, so let me know if you would like his info...

Hey guys
Thanks for the feedback. I was always planning on having them printed at a pro-shop. Just doing a little research ahead of time as to what expensive papers I can get. The last ones I did cost about $4 per sheet of paper, which were decent, but looking for something over the top. I've heard of paper with titanium weaved into it, but that's a little too crazy.

Cheers!

Ah, gotcha. Titanium! Now that is over the top. ;)
