I have never shot adult videos, so my details are a bit fuzzy but I remember reading something about it once. Basically, if you don't get the right releases and keep the right records they can throw you in jail.
I did a Google search and came up with Title 18 USC Sect 2257 which details the releases needed and the records that must be kept. I think basically everyone in front of the camera needs to provide name and proof of age and these records have to be maintained by a third party and be kept availabe for inspection. http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18/2257.html I also saw on Google a site that will sell you the forms to meet the requirements of the law. Don't know if that is a good deal or not. http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18/2257.html Now there may also be other laws and other requirements that I know nothing about. There seems to be at least one adult video industry association. You might want to track them down and ask advice. |
