Photo Sites You Visit Regularly

I'm looking for more resources for an aspiring photog, and wondered if anybody here had recommendations on blogs, sites or forums that offer good news, tips, etc. I check in with DP Review and Photo.net regularly, but neither of them are really blogs.

For creative lighting with flash units I recomment "Strobist"

http://www.strobist.blogspot.com/

There are also blogs for the major camera brands like Nikonians ....

Run, don't walk, to Fred Miranda: http://www.fredmiranda.com/portal/fmforums.php

Also this one has your name written all over it: Texas Photo Forum

Sort of a blog... Ken Rockwell:

I would also like to add http://www.filmlives.net to the list. It is a gem of a community which covers all formats, digital and film; and it is run by friendly, "normal" people.

Cool. From some of the forums I've looked into people certainly are, ah... passionate about their views. photo.net seems to be having a meltdown, which is a pity, since they had some good (if dogmatic) resources for Canon shooters. I'd love to see a blog like Nikonian except for Canon cameras, but it doesn't seem to exist.

Photo.net has kicked off thousands of their members these past 2 years. With them you are either one of their cronies or you are not. The only good thing about photo.net is hundreds if not thousands of photographers are uploading their work. Many of these photos are fabulous.

So far, I just read Ken Rockwell's and now, of course, this forum.

Ken has a great site. A few years ago he went out of his way to find me a lens I wanted. He's very informative and helpful.
