Granted, APS-H isn't much smaller than traditional 35mm, but I'm a little surprised that they went with APS for a top of the line pro camera. Here's the direct link to the Canon product page:

For having a new 45 point auto focusing system, your pictures will look incredibly sharp. Looking at all the other features in this camera, the 4000 dollar price tag is pretty cheep.

The significance of this announcement is that the sensor elements have been designed to capture more light. I hope this technology moves to video sensors ASAP.

Yeah, this is the ride. If some camera manufacturer were smart enough to market their unit as the "golf" camera, you can imagine seeing one in every shop and with every golf teacher. The camera would come with a software that would stitch together the frames into a movie as well as show the motion sequence for analysis.
