I hate myself
For not yet going digital. A couple of weeks ago I did order myself a 100 rolls of my favourite colour film.

If you shoot a lot, a good digital camera won't take too long to pay for itself in what you aren't spending on film and processing. With cheap film and processing 100 rolls of film will cost at least a grand.

Yeah, I can't imagine going back to film. I did a shoot today for a tattoo magazine with my Canon 5D. It is enough resolution for the magazine and I was able to show my friend the photos as I shot them to make sure it was what he wanted. I am burning the photos now onto a dvd. I only shoot RAW with that camera, being able to check the exposure and lighting with digital is great.
If you switch over to a digital camera, I recomend the 5D, sweet camera, lots of pixels. I look forward to blowing some photos up to A1 size. I made some that size with my Digital Rebel (8 megapixel) and it came out nice, can't wait to compare the two blowups.

You and me both.
What the hell am I saying. I don't really need one. I'll just keep telling myself that.

Ouch! If my trany went I'd just look for a new, old car. Very old. :-)
And it has to be great on gas. I hope you collect gas points. They add up quickly these days. |
