All those chemicals needed to create it can not be very friendly for the enviroment... But an interesting read all the same.

Sure... It takes a big picture, but just try to take it to Disney on your family vacation!

My sentiments exactly: what a waste of resources. Get a high-end digital camera, stitch a few shots and be done with it.
