An Excellent Thread @ Fred Miranda
Several days ago a fellow started a thread in the Canon forum at FM innocuously titled, "One shot from your favorite lens". Now 14 pages and counting, the thread has become a really remarkable tour of life on planet Earth. Some of the shots will take your breath away, even if you're not a big still photography enthusiast.
Browsing this thread is an excellent way to spend an hour...which is nearly how long it will likely take, as you're sure to dwell on some of the shots.

Great thread. Good shots. Good Photoshop work. Whether I like it or not that thread demonstrates how the manipulation of the original image is becoming the norm rather than the exception. Time for me to take Jeff’s online Photoshop classes.
