New Photo Magazine
There is a relatively new photo magazine out that I like so much I just subscribed after reading two issues from the newsstand. It is Digital PhotoPro. It is worth checking out. What sets it apart is the depth and technical detail in the articles, yet it is a nice slick with photographer profiles and lots of good stuff. The information is many steps above the popular consumer mags that have been around forever. Any digital photographer may enjoy it.
The only other magazine I have ever recommended and still do is American Photo which I have read for at least ten years. American Photo keeps you informed about photography and photographers as an industry (it may not be as good as it used to be IMHO). Digital PhotoPro is technically informative. Steve

Indeed, Digital Photo Pro is a very good mag, as Steven indicated, a cut above Pop Photo, et.al. I started a subscription to it this summer and, so far, I've been delighted. The issues are "keepers". It's still a bit rocky on editorial style, as most new mags are, but they'll catch their stride in the coming months.
Their Web site is here.
