Reminds me of one of my earliest jobs at a custom color lab. I was assigned to work in the "big print" room - printing aerial photos and architectural panoramas.
The main reason I got the job is that I am 6 foot 3 inches tall. I was the only one at the lab who could handle the print paper without creasing it, and reach the enlarger head when it was at maximum height! I remember laying that paper on the vacuum easel and making exposures of several minutes, burning and dodging with colored gels... A far cry from Photoshop eh? |
