Photo Rescue Software
Just thought I'd pass along a tip that may come in handy for other folks, as it did for me.
After shooting an hour or so of digital stills of a scene that could not be repeated or reshot I promptly came home and inadvertently erased all of the photos from my 10D's flash card. What a clever fellow am I, eh? Cutting to the chase: I found a very inexpensive shareware package called Photo Rescue that saved the day for me. For the meager price of $30 it recovered every shot from the card, and even recovered Christmas shots I had long since erased! It's a tool that's well worth the modest expense. There are both Mac and Windows versions offered.

Thanks, Ken. I recently recovered some one-of-a-kind mantis photos (we grow 'em big here in Texas) thanks to Image Recall from Flash Fixers. Also cross-platform; costs $40 but worth every penny.
