XL lens to EF mount? Will this work or not? at DVinfo.net

I want to use my canon 3x lens on my 40d, Is there a way to make this work? Sorry this is a little off topic but i need to know

Sorry, but a Canon XL lens (assuming that's what you mean by 3x) will not create an image circle large enough to be used by a full-frame D-SLR (or any D-SLR for that matter).
