Nikon D90 vs. Canon xSi
Does anyone know any good sites out there that compare the 2? Or do any of you have opinions?
I am a casual photographer that has an eye for photography but a lack of practice. I am aiming to do basic headshots, set photography, and nature stills to start building my portfolio. I have used the xTi on several occasions and have been comfortable with it, but never had enough time to really dig in and learn the camera (or any slr) for all its worth. So I am looking to purchase one of these 2 depending on on the differences etc. Thanks

Moved here from Photo for HD Video (because there is no video mode on the Canon XSi).

They're both great cameras but I would consider which system you currently have lenses for - that should be the deciding factor.
Any camera can take superb photos, it's all about understanding the hardware, composition and lighting. |
