Who's bugs, Canon's?
Nikons have traditionally gone without requiring nearly as many firmware updates as Canon DSLRs.
One recent example would be Canon's 1DMKIII focus bugs.
That's a major problem for a Pro camera to undergo and that still hasn't been ironed out after the 1st patch.
As for banding, we'll see....although nobody's immune to banding ;)
