Carry Case for Steadicam Merlin?
I just bought a Merlin and am wondering what other users are doing about carrying it around for a shoot? The case that it comes in is bulky and requires the Merlin to be stripped down. I would prefer a smaller solution that allows me to keep the weights atttached so that my setup time is mainly spent on re-balancing. Any suggestions?

Never`mind. I managed to repack a Nature Trekker backpack and got in inside together with the Canon A1. Cheaper than an assistant I think. :)

Also check out the "Merlin Travel Bag" from Steadicam (Part# 801-7902)
It's a bag specifically designed to safely hold your Merlin ready to shoot - even with the camera attached! - Mikko
