Flipping the image on the Flyer monitor for use with M2?
(Sorry for the second straight post in this forum...)
I'd like to be able to use the Flyer with a Sony V1 sporting a Redrock M2 depth-of-field attachment, but these devices invert the image - can the standard LCD display on the Flyer be made to vertically flip its image? |

Yes, as of...i'm not sure exactly when...the stock monitor can flip vertically and horizontally. Or both... A couple months ago they fixed the feature, so if you get a new rig it will work fine. If you're buying a used rig, make sure to check it first, because this hasn't always been a feature (working, at least).

Yes, ALL Flyer monitors can be flipped, if I recall correctly.
The earlier version monitors had 2 "presets" as inputs "Video 1" and "Video 2". You could only perform the Flip in "Video 2" mode. This caused some confusion. - Mikko

Gents, thanks very much for the confirmation about this. Should make using an M2 that much easier...
