Homemade Steadicam?
I heard on imdb.com that while filming Dead/Alive Peter Jackson made his very own steadicam stabilizer. Does anyone out there now a site where I could aquire such information on how to build my own?

I propose that we officially categorize the $14 rig with the Fig rig ...both rather similar :: big handles for the camera.
I'm definatly not critisizing their performance and hand-held rigs, but can we please stop calling them Steadicam "type" stabilizers? They just arn't. - Just to keep things honest and to the point. ;) - Mikko
