Flycam 6000 from India
I have the Flycam 6000 and have been stabilized. I have stabilized well as in the fall to the vertical gives me around 2 to 3 seconds.
What I notice is that when I turn 180 degrees becomes unbalanced. To see if anyone knows this can help me. I guess this must be something that they should go to the stabilizers that I saw a video of a person who said something about a Glidecam but I did not understood that to be done. Attached some pictures of what happens to me. Thanks. I wish someone could tell me what to do. |

Re: Flycam 6000 from India
The older Flycams were not very accurately machined at all so what you have is an unbalanced yoke ..the cast "Y" shaped fitting that goes around the bearing. The easiest fix is to remove the curved handle and use a round file to cut a slot where the handle bolt goes thru so it can be moved right or left just a fraction to compensate.
I suggest you also visit HBS forum and look at the "Modifying Commercial Systems" threads and you will see a huge number of posts there about rectifying problems on the 6000 sled Chris |
