Any ideas for a DIY Glidecam Camera Plate?
Hello Everyone,
I purchased a used dvx-100 with a bundle of video equiptment last fall. In the bundle was a glidecam 2000 pro. Everything is with the glidecam except the camera mounting plate. I have talked to the previous owner and she cannot seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I could get one, or do does anyone know how I could make one myself. I have seen pictures of it and it doesnt look to complicated, and from what I have seen on the net most people seem to modifiy them anyways. Any ideas? Thanks, Dale Workman |

Would be a hassle to DIY, in my opinion.
You can try to contact glidecam directly for replacement parts. Or you might as well upgrade to the new glidecam HD. Much improved. Side note: I do have one for sale. HD4000 in excellent condition, e-mail me for details if you are interested. Thanks, David |
