Question for Glidecam X10 and 4000HD
Hi,
i need your help with the Glidecam X10 and 4000HD(opereting eith ex1r). At first, is it right that the more weight you have, the more stable it is? The mail question for me, is the use of the part that is the connection between the vest and the arm. There are 4 screws there, that according to Glidecam manual, i will be able to set it at the right distance from my body. What is the right distance. I need to position it, so in a hands free operetion, it will be able to the same position? Thanks |

Giannis, I have the same set up as you.
I tried adjusting the arms using the 4 screws, with the sled attached, no go. At BVE last week, I spoke to David Stevens, CEO of Glidecam and he showed me how to adjust correctly. Do not attach the sled, leave the arm loose and adjust the screws for back/forward and side to side movement until the arms are hanging correctly infront of you with no movement. When you start to adjust them they will swing to or away from you and you adjust until there is no movement. Hope this helps. Peter |

What is the final step?
To walk with out the sled and the arm stays at the same position? This is the point? |
