Glidecam Smooth Shooter or DV Sportster

I'm looking into buying one of these. Does anyone have an opinion as to which one I should get? I have (it should be delivered today) the Glidecam 4000.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

The Smooth Shooter (and my Indicam system) are made for use with the Glidecam 4000 so I would get a vest and arm that will fit the handle of your 4000. I tried the Smooth Shooter at NAB and it does a good job.

The DV SPortster is designed to work with the Glidecam 4000 as well. The Smooth Shooter looks a bit more solid though, but it's double the price. Then again... you get what you pay for, right? So I wouldn't mind spending the extra loot if the Smooth Shooter was that much better.
Thanks for the reply. Not sure what I'll be getting yet.... hmm....
