7d on a Magicarm 6000

Just for fun, I thought I would try to fly my 7d on the Magicarm 6000. I usually use this with my EX-1, but the 7D is so much lighter. First, I took off most of the bottom weights. The built-in level on the 7D made getting the balance pretty easy. I still had to play around with the weights to get it in the 1 second drop zone. The biggest problem I am having now is getting the 7D with SmallHD 7 inch monitor to ride correctly on the rig. I have the arm, the vest and the camera and monitor all nicely balanced but I notice some bounce in the shot. I think the arm is overkill for this little camera. I haven't used the vest or this system in some months, so some of the bounce is probably being out of practice. I wonder if adjusting the spring tension in the MagicArm would help with the bounce? It is just enough to see when I take a step. Comments are appreciated.
