Best Steadicam/Glidecam system for HDR-FX1??

What is the Best Steadicam/Glidecam solution for the Sony HDR-FX1??

How much are you willing to spend? A simple monopod can work wonders if you're really tight on the budget.

The Steadicam Flyer rocks with the FX1...

It flies like a dream, sooo smooth (just as nice as a bigger Steadicam rig..) and the wieght of the camerea is perfect for the rig..
I did a 19hr shoot with that combination, which I now operate.. and it was just a joy to use from shot to shot.. including low mode and a lot of slow and fast shots including whips and all the other fun stuff.. never once did I feel one bit restricted by the rig!

..And the proof in the pudding is that the footage all came out great!

Sounds great, Mikko--that too would be my rig of choice. Unfortunately for Brent's request putting price first--we've picked the most expensive option!!

So what IS your desired price range, Brent?
