Steadicam JR with PDX10

Quick couple of questions for anyone who uses the Steadicam JR with the PDX10:

1. Does the supplied video cable fit the PDX10 (S Video or the yellow jack?) From looking at the online manual it looks like a different type of connector is supplied.

2. Does the pause control work, and do I need to order a separate cable for this? Again, the manual isn't entirely clear on this point.

3. Being as things flapping around don't help the balance, do people remove (cut off) the flap that covers the connectors on the PDX10, or just leave it hanging there?

Can't help you with 1 or 2...but my recommendation for 3 is to use a little adhesive-backed velcro on the flap and as needed on the body so you can swing it up and fasten it for Steadicam use, but still have it to protect your connectors otherwise.
