a pin lost
hi all.
sorry before hand for my non technical names...the conection between the handle and the gymbal, its hold together by two pins....well, one of them fell off and got lost. wondering if this has happen to anyone else and if people have a good fix for this. Its the metal gymbal version...I used it with HVX200A...just with the Battery and a shotgun...used with the arm and vest. I didn't make any extreme movement...maybe the cam was too heavy...arrrrrrrr....I just realised this on job for wedd day...arrrrchh what do you think? Thanks O i'm talking about the steadicam Merlin...

Contact Tiffen - they can take care of getting you a replacement pin. Had to do this fix on a JR gimbal, nothing to it. I'd recommend a TINY amount of super glue on it to prevent re-occurrence - put it on AFTER you set the pin, to avoid any problems!

Thanks Dave for your imput. Belive it or not I found the pin 2 days later..by chance without even looking for it, saw it on a furniture in my house. Don't understand why it will fall in the first place and if this has happen a lot. I like the glue idea..will do that. Thanks for your help. O
