Stabilizer video on the Web
Hello,
In deciding which stabilizer to purchase, I have been looking for examples of film and/or video produced with various systems. I have found some nice clips and demos that range from small production companies to big-budget films. If you have additional samples that might be of interest, including your own work, please post them. It makes great viewing on a rainy day and might generate a few ideas for some of the photographers on this list. The links I have found are listed below. Enjoy! Glidecam V-16/20 Video Demo and V-16 Operator Video from the Glidecam Website: http://www.glidecam.com/demo.html Glidecam videos from Ping Pong Cameras, including production on a music video and an instructional operator video. This is in French, but it's great to watch: http://www.pingpongcams.com/glidecam..._20/video.html Glidecam V-16 used in the making of Kwoon. Several episodes and trailers are on his site here: http://www.thekwoon.com/ Glidecam de America Latina. One of these fine days I'll get my reel up on the web. It's a truly embarrassing reality that I don't have a web site, but I do have one planned for the near future. This was a good reminder.

Charles,
Your current lack of a Web presence my be an embarassment to you. But when you eventually rectify this situation I can guarantee that the demo reels you post to your site will embarass those of us who dabble in motion stabilizers.

Not that I am any kind of web guru, but I certainly can help you put a site up. Have a look at mine to get an idea of a nice but low-tech approach. www.moorefilms.com
I would expect no remumeration from you just a thank you if you are interested. |

Much obliged Taylor. I do actually have folks who are ready to do it locally as soon as I can get them the materials. I'm a real stickler (aka pain in the arse) to work with when it comes to graphic design, so you wouldn't want to go there, trust me!
