Max Flyer weight capacity
Hi all,
The Flyer is rated 19 pounds (more or less 9kgs) but I'm interested to know if someone ever attempted to fly gear past that weight with the Steadicam Flyer? Thanks |

Depends on the arm, some lift the spec capacity and some arms can do a wee bit more.
This is the older Flyer with the 15 pound limit: Steadicam Flyer professional rig for lightweight cameras with JVC HD111E on feature film Sure as hell looks more than 15 pounds.

Unwise move mate.. That will over stress the gimbal and other components. Better to use something else with a higher weight capacity.
