Hows your xha1 footage
Hi All, I have been using my xha1 on my old steady cam jr. My footage while following a subject or when rotating around a subject is really studdering in the background. My movemenrt is very slow and being aware of my problem I am very carefull to do real slow pans. I have seen footage that is shot in 24 fps like mine though I dont see the jittering like mine. Any thoughts?

Make sure the OIS (Image Stabilization) is turned off.

And make sure you're shooting at 1/48 shutter speed. When I got my camera the first time I switched to 24F it defaulted to 1/24, which was weird. Once you change it, it stays at 1/48.

Hi Terry,
I shoot with my a1 on the pilot all the time and haven't noticed any stutter or jitter while panning,But then again I shoot at 60i w/image stabilization. Ryan
