Anyone heard of Camera Motion Research?
I came across this by chance, and couldn't find anything in a dvinfo search:

I've heard of them and I've seen the products in person. I can tell you that they are real. CMR is a company here in central NC.
What I say is the passive stabilizer is being worked on right now. I don't know the latest schedule for product release. CMR has been conducting focus group meetings to get input from real users. I have been participating in the groups. I'm really happy to see they are asking the opinions of real users. We gave them a lot of feedback. Its a very interesting design and the guys are putting a lot of effort into making a quality and usable stabilizer. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
