Sony V1 and Merlin

Has anyone balanced this combination?

Please share your settings. Am I being hopeful with the V1E a 970battery and a Rode NTG1 ? should be fine as this combination is 4.13lbs.

Thank you

What is the best method for balancing from scratch. In what order?, would you leave plate position on 0 and gimbal -4 turns and concentrate on the arc first?

I've spent ages on this , but still get a very gentle bobbing motion when held steady. I assumed it should not sway at all even with drop time of exactly 1 sec (is that rule for any weight btw)

Thank you
