Gyro stabilized mount plans?
Just wondered if anyone has built, or attempted to build a small gyro stabilized mount for a DV cam. If you have, do you have any links or info.
Thanks PL |

Many years ago I used one in 35mm photography.
These are the folks that made it you might get some ideas from their site. http://www.ken-lab.com/ Mr. Bill

I'm pretty sure nobody's tried a gyro stabilized mount. They use a lot of power, are pretty big and bulky, and cost a lot.
I'm sure you could try it though, if you really need it. |

Thanks for that. I am aware of the ken-lab site. I have worked with both Wes-cam and Gyro-stab Continental side mount on helicopters. Was just wondering if anyone had built a small, home-built, hobby type gyro mount for DV cams.
