Need advice on mounting camera on slider

Hi Everyone,

I'm shooting w/ a 5d Mark3 and a GH3. I recently purchased a small slider... the tripod head on my main tripod wont mount to it, so I'm looking to pick up an affordable head that will allow smooth pans on the slider. The slider I bought is similar to this one:

Amazon.com : StudioFX 40" Pro DSLR Camera Slider Dolly Track Video Stabilizer : Camera & Photo

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Luke

I use a Manfrotto 701 HDV head that was about $120 when I bought it. They're now discontinued.
