A little OT: Anyone familiar with motorized pan/tilt?
Hi,
One of my clients does 3 day seminars where he moves around a lot and likes the camera in close so I'm constantly having to pan with him to keep him in the shot. I've been looking at motorized remote pan/tilt heads on the web and they seem to jump from around $100 to thousands of dollars. Is anyone familiar with the Bescor MP-101 that B & H sells? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...list&sku=64399 At that low price ($ 119.95) will I be sacrificing anything like smoothness of pan? Thanks, Tony |

Thanks Edward, that's what I feared. Were you able to find anything that worked smoothly at a reasonable price?

At the time, we quit looking. We may be looking again soon, though. We're getting ready to build a new sanctuary.

Sounds good. If you find anything workable that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd love to hear about it. And if I find anything I'll let you know too.
