Can anyone recommend a platform/stand for a camera & tripod?
I'm looking for a portable videography platform that will elevate you at least 3 or 4 feet. Any suggestions?

Spider SCP Scorpion Pod One Piece Support System - Supports 300 lbs
B&H has these and accessories for it. There are a couple of different configurations. Look under Pro Video>Tripod and Support> Spider Pods and accessories.

If 2' works then a spider pod is fine. For a 3-4' high platform you need to check out modular stage platforms. It's not going to be very portable though. Can't you just use a stepladder and a cinesaddle?
